Wall Petals are sculptural lights made from hardened textile. The objects emerge from Siiri’s research into expressing softness through materiality and form, beginning with a study of casting liquid material into textiles to create a unique result each time. When light shines through, the textile’s distinct texture becomes visible, almost like a flower in the morning light. They are shaped into floral-like forms to continue on this idea of natural phenomenon, whilst introducing a decorative element to the interior space.
